I may have glossed over my satisfaction of getting the gooseneck welded yesterday. The owners of Mid Atlantic Steel Supply, Donna and Craig Faries, were really great people to work with and Erwin, who did the welding for me (and let me watch and ask questions), does great work. I think many island resources are being consumed by the America's Cup crews so I was fortunate to get a slice of their time for my tiny, but very important to me, repairs.
