Feynman

I'm still reading my book on quantum gravity. Taking it slow to try to absorb as much as possible. Many of the concepts seem completely incredulous at first (and second, third, and n+1 ) blush. Anyway, about halfway through the book, Richard Feynman's name appears. I hadn't heard of him previous to this trip when Carlos Nieto Lopez recommended one of Feynman's books to me, "Surely Mr Feynman, you must be joking". It was a really interesting read; mostly autobiographical of his life with very little discussion of quantum concepts. Turns out he's famous in the scientific community for his discovery of how to calculate the location of an electron called "Feynman's sum over paths".
It's funny how when you learn something new it seems to miraculously show up again in your life shortly thereafter.
