night watch part two

We've left the other catamaran far behind. As close as this "near miss" was, the most I ever saw was a small twinkle of her mast light on the horizon. It's a big place out here...
The other pic is a bit of what I see when I look back towards the boat from the starboard helm station.
From the lower right, the green rectangle with red line above is the starboard engine display. Currently in neutral at 1500rpm to charge the batteries. We need to do this at least twice a day.
Above and to the left, the bright white blob with a bit of red is the compass.
Next to that to the left, the horizontal dash of light is the autopilot display, partially (mostly) obscured by the wheel in this photo.
And the bright white and red above and to the left of that are the wind and speed instruments above the salon door.

Well, the wind has slacked off and changed direction a bit (you'll notice a course change from 275 to 285 if you compare/contrast the chart plotter images) a bit now towards the end of my watch. I tried changing course up to 295 but wasn't ecstatic about that as we would prefer a southerly component to our course yet. Tried tacking off but had to go down all the way to 210 to run wing on wing. Decided that was too much south so reverted back to 292 and left the problem in Ben's capable hands.
Off watch now.
Good night, sweet dreams.
