day #5

The crew is hard at work ( including yours truly) as you can see. Anthony's hearing is finely tuned in for the screech of the fishing reel, other than whatever he's listening to on his earbuds.
We are sailing direct downwind today at heading 230 making about 6.5 knots. According to our Resident statistician, Ben, if we continue at our average speed we've maintained since the start of the trip, we will arrive in Barbados 14 days from now. I'm hopeful that we have an overall increase in speed, time will tell. We've placed bets on our arrival date:
Anthony Jan 26th @ 1500
Greg Jan 27 @ 1400
Ben Jan 28th @ 0800
Antoine Jan 28@1800
Paddy Jan 30@0800

The sun is shining, light clouds in the sky, and the sandstorm haze is diminishing. One meter following seas; a smooth ride.
Antoine was the first brave soul to take a saltwater bath on the stern platform (wearing a harness of course). There's also a freshwater nozzle there for rinsing.
